Fix a blurry logo

Fix a blurry or pixelated logo.

If your logo looks fuzzy, jagged or boxy, the file is too small for where you are using it. Upload it and we redraw it as clean shapes that stay sharp everywhere.

Before: a blurry low quality VibeCheck logo

After: the same VibeCheck logo traced clean and sharp
After
  1. Upload the logo you have

A small JPG, a PNG from an old email or a screenshot all work.

  2. We redraw it

Your logo is traced into smooth shapes with clean edges and flat, even colors.

  3. Compare

Zoom in on the new version and check it against your original.

  4. Download sharp files

Large PNG and JPG files for screens, and vector files for print.

Why a logo turns blurry

  • The file is small. A logo saved at 200 pixels wide looks fine as a thumbnail and falls apart on a banner.
  • It was stretched. Making a small picture bigger does not add detail, it only enlarges the squares it is made of.
  • It was saved as a JPG many times. Each save adds smudges and specks around the edges.
  • It was copied from a website or a social profile, which shrink pictures to load faster.
  • It is a screenshot or a photo of a printed logo.

Why resizing does not fix it

Enlarging a blurry logo in a photo app, or running it through a picture sharpener, keeps the same blurry picture and guesses at the missing detail. Edges come out wobbly and letters lose their shape.

The lasting fix is to redraw the logo as shapes. That is what tracing does: it finds each area of color and rebuilds it with smooth curves. The result is a vector file with no squares in it at all, so it cannot blur at any size.

What the fix cleans up

  • Jagged and fuzzy edges become smooth curves.
  • JPG specks and smudges disappear.
  • Colors that drifted become flat and even again.
  • A slightly off-white or gray background is removed, so the logo sits cleanly on any color.

It cannot bring back detail that is completely gone. If the letters in your file are already unreadable, the trace will be rough too. You see the result before paying, and the page warns you when a trace looks rough.

After the fix

You get your logo for light backgrounds, dark backgrounds and in one color, as large PNG and JPG files, with a favicon and app icons. The full pack adds SVG, PDF and EPS vector files for printing at any size.

Seeing the fixed logo is free. Downloading is a one-time payment of $9 for PNG and JPG, or $19 for all files.

Questions

Yes, when the shapes are still recognizable. The logo is redrawn as clean vector shapes, which stay sharp at any size. If the file is so small that letters are unreadable, the result will be rough.
